Does The Education Foundation award grants?

The Foundation does not bestow grants.  We view education as “the foundation” for a satisfying life and successful career and therefore we seek to forge partnerships and secure resources that will be of mutual benefit to the business community and the schools.

Are contributions to The Education Foundation tax deductible?

The Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and contributions are tax deductible as allowable by law.

Whom does The Education Foundation serve?

The Education Foundation serves the business community and the public schools and specifically targets career preparation in Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester county high schools.  The Education Foundation promotes seamless transition from education to the workplace and therefore works to some degree with all levels of education as well as with employers.
